KESC inks power deal with NTDC

A power accord has been signed between Karachi Electric Supply (KESC) Company and National Transmission Dispatch Company (NTDC).
Under the covenant, KESC is bound to buy 650megawatts electricity from NDTC as per the rates set by Nepra for the next five years.PSO would provide furnace oil to KESC while Sui Southern is to give 190million cubic feet gas to the same.According to Nepra sources, the said accord was made by Prime Minister to review the prevailing power crisis facing the country.
