Justice Dogar Defends PCO Oath; Vows to FightIslamabad, Pakistan: Justice Dogar Defends PCO Oath; Vows to Fight, Former Chief Justice of Justice (Retd) Abdul hameed Dogar has called the restoration of the apex courts’ judges by the government a wrong deed, “to compel that he and his fellow judges have done nothing wrong by taking oath PCO of 3 November 2007.

Addressing a press conference here Tuesday, the former chief judge said that the restoration of judges sacked by the administration was illegal, since no such right was present in this context.

He was the existence of PCO of 3 November 2007 and denied again that he was not aware of any such order.

“Our pledge was not a new thing as people used was for us to take oath on PCO as well. We have the oath in the light of Zafar Ali Shah’s case ruling by the Supreme Court of Pakistan,” claimed Dogar .

He asked that if his decisions were accepted as genuine, how he can be called an unlawful Chief Justice.

He said the 14-member bench of the Supreme Court that the verdict was delivered on July 31, the foundation of a ‘wrong’ tradition.

“Judges who are appointed by me, was also among those who decided the case,” he maintained.

Dogar also filed today its rejoinder to the contempt of court notice was issued in light of the July 31 ruling by the Supreme Court of Pakistan to defend its actions, saying it was his duty to respond to the court’s confirmation is.

His opinion was that no bank in the apex court, the judges of the Supreme Court and High Courts to take oath to be limited.

Dogar also filed a petition against Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Mohammed Chaudhry, through his lawyer Ahmed Raza Kasuri on Tuesday, along with a 83-page rejoinder to the contempt of court notice.

Four other judges of the apex court, Justice Javed Iqbal, Justice Raja Fayyaz, Justice Chaudhry Ejaz and Justice Khalil-ur-Rehman Ramday and the Ministry of Law is also the party in the petition.

Justice (RTD) Dogor has filed review petition against the Supreme Court ruled on July 21.
