DI Khan tragedy toll rises to 6 : DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The death toll in Dera Ismail Khan clashes between two belligerent groups mounted to six, as the injured in the clashes succumbed to their injuries, Geo News reported Sunday.

The city is tense with curfew amid arrests of over 100 suspected people in search operation in various areas. Also yesterday, over 50 suspects were arrested.

It should be mentioned that the clashes started after gunshots were fired at a holy procession marking the Milad (birth) of the Holy Prophet yesterday on 12th Rabiul Awwal in Dera tehsil of Paharpur at Dhiki More.

At least four people lost their lives and 16 others were injured in the incident. Following the violent riots, curfew was imposed in the tehsil of Paharpur.

The injured were taken to District Headquarters Hospital KI Khan, where two more injured passed away raising the death toll to six. There are still 14 injured at the hospital.

The people are panicked in the city and its suburban areas.
