Casey Wilson Updated
Casey Wilson and Michaela Wastkins have been fired from the cast of Saturday Night Live (SNL) after just one season.
Earlier this week SNL hired comedians Jenny Slate and Nasim Pedrad for the upcoming season but it turns out that they were replacements for Wilson and Watkins and didn’t mean the show was becoming more female.
Watkins told Entertainment Weekly that her reaction was “shock — and sadness [because] it just felt premature.”
SNL kicks off on September 26th and the Thursday Weekend Update stand-alone show debuts again on September 17th.
